Pune ISIS Module:Delhi Police has achieved a big success today. Special Cell has arrested Shahnawaz alias Shafi Uzzama, a terrorist of ISIS module. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had announced a reward of Rs 3 lakh on Ujjama. He was most wanted in the Pune ISIS case. Shahnawaz, an engineer by profession, is a resident of Delhi. After escaping from the custody of Pune Police, he was living in Delhi. Interrogation of the terrorist is going on. According to media reports, 3 to 4 people have also been detained along with him.

Delhi Police Special Cell officials have also detained many people in connection with the case. Information about these detainees and their possible involvement in terrorist activities has not yet been revealed. Officials said further investigation is underway.

The recent arrest of Shafi Uzzama is part of the NIA’s ongoing efforts to nab persons linked to the Pune ISIS Module case. The NIA had earlier released photographs of four terror suspects wanted in connection with this case and announced a reward of Rs 3 lakh to anyone providing credible information leading to their arrest. The NIA team was conducting a search operation across the country in search of Shafi Uzzama, Talha Liaquat Khan, Rizwan Abdul Haji Ali and Abdullah Faiyaz Shaikh alias Daiparwala.
