Okhla Wall Collapses: The basement wall of an under-construction building collapsed on Thursday evening in Okhla area of ​​South East district of capital Delhi. Dozens of laborers got buried under mud and debris in this accident. Thirteen people were present at the site before the accident. Four of them were taken to hospital in critical condition, where two died. After the accident, the relatives of some laborers also created a ruckus at the spot.

According to the information, the accident took place in Okhla Phase II at 4.55 pm. After receiving the call, three vehicles of the fire department reached the plot numbered A-99. During this, the families of the workers working at the under-construction site also reached there and started trying to go inside. Police and fire personnel stopped them and became aggressive. Later, after a lot of persuasion, he calmed down.

In this regard, Fire Director Atul Garg told that the people who were trapped inside have been evacuated. Some had left on their own. The building was being constructed in about 500 square yards. Along with preparing the basement, the wall was being erected. There were 13 laborers working at the site when the accident happened. Nine of them somehow escaped and went out on their own. He suffered minor injuries, but four laborers were buried under mud and debris inside. He was admitted to the nearby hospital. According to the fire department, two laborers have died in the accident. At the same time, the condition of two laborers is said to be serious. At the same time, Delhi Police has started its action in this matter. Along with this, the police have also registered a case under relevant sections. At present, the police investigation is going on.
