Delhi Crime: In Delhi, the capital of the country, many incidents of crime are heard every day. It seems as if the morale of the accused has reached sky high. Delhi Crime Branch has got a success in this episode. The crime branch has arrested a vicious snatcher involved in 26 criminal cases. With the arrest of this scoundrel named Amit Sharma, four cases have been solved. The accused, 36, is a resident of Subhash Park, Shahdara. Four stolen mobile phones have also been recovered from it. According to the police, on the information of Sub-Inspector Rajaram, a raid was conducted in Subhash Park, Shahdara area and the accused Amit Sharma was successfully nabbed.

When the accused was interrogated, he disclosed that he used to call traders with fake SIM cards and trap them on the pretext of placing huge orders. He mostly used to choose such persons who had expensive phones. The accused further disclosed that in this way he used to abscond as soon as he got a chance by taking their mobile phones on the pretext of making phone calls by establishing good rapport with the victims. Used to sell all the stolen mobiles to a person named Babua. Babua used to meet him at Kikar Chowk, Karol Bagh. The accused Babua is still out of reach of the police. The scoundrel, educated till 12th, has been convicted in five cases. He has been arrested earlier also. After coming out on bail, he again joined the world of crime.
