The matter of spending Rs 45 crore on the renovation of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s bungalow is getting heated. Delhi BJP leaders had created a lot of ruckus on the streets of the capital Delhi a few days back regarding this issue. In this episode, today the state BJP leaders and workers have sat on an indefinite dharna outside Kejriwal’s house. Delhi BJP state president Virendra Sachdeva had said on Sunday that Kejriwal had spent the hard-earned money of the people to decorate his bungalow. In protest against this, the BJP will demonstrate on a war footing.
Apart from this, Virendra Sachdeva has accused Kejriwal that a scam has been done in the repair work. The most surprising thing is that during the Corona period, Rs 45 crore was spent only on the decoration of the bungalow. Member of Parliament from Chandni Chowk and former Union Minister Dr Harshvardhan also participated in the protest. While talking, Harshvardhan told that he had read somewhere that money has to be spent to meet Kejriwal. However, more people wish to see Kejriwal’s Sheeshmahal than to meet him. Taking a jibe at Kejriwal, BJP MP Harsh Vardhan said that even if he issues tickets for his Sheeshmahal, let the countrymen visit it.
LG asked for documents related to expenses
Delhi BJP has named this bungalow of Kejriwal as Sheeshmahal. It is being told that 45 crore rupees were spent on the decoration of this bungalow. Apart from curtains worth crores, kitchen worth Rs 1 crore and toilet worth lakhs are also included in this. Apart from this, BJP is also alleging that a consultant was also hired for this, who fixed a budget of Rs 9.9 crore. On this issue, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinay Saxena (LG Vinay Saxena) has ordered the Chief Secretary to preserve and hand over the documents related to the expenses incurred at Kejriwal’s house.
