Khairagarh. Tulsi Jayanti celebration and Doha-Chaupai singing competition was organized in the Hindi department of Indira Kala Sangeet University, Chhattisgarh. This program was inaugurated by Dean Prof. Dr. Kashi Nath Tiwari, Head of Department Prof. Rajan Yadav, Prof. Mridula Shukla, Dr. Devmait Minj and the jury performed the ceremony by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, students participated enthusiastically in the Doha-Chaupai singing competition.
On this occasion, Prof. Shukla discussed Geetavati. The same Dr. Purnima Kelkar lectured on the glorious personality of Tulsi. Pro. Rajan Yadav told about the contemporary environment of Tulsi and the relevance of Tulsi literature at present. In the second phase, a singing competition was held on only Chaupai and Doha verses of the texts written by Tulsidas, in which Veermati Kaivart stood first, Deepak Jange came second and Muskan Got third place. Preetiraj, Praveen Kumar and Sakshi received consolation prizes.
