Pankaj Bhadoria – Dantewada. Two of the three girls who went to bathe in the Karli pond of Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, died due to drowning. The three girls had gone to bathe in the pond near their house in Karli around 9 am, where the three girls started drowning in deep water. After this, the people taking bath around saw that all the three girls were drowning, so people jumped into the pond and pulled out the three girls. Out of which the condition of one girl child is said to be critical. Two girls had died before reaching the hospital. The matter belongs to Gidam police station area.
According to the information received, the names of the dead girls are Vandana and Riya. The name of the injured girl is Rakhi. Both the dead girls were about 12 to 13 years old. The three girls had gone to bathe in the pond near their house in Karli around 9 am, where the three girls started drowning in deep water. After this, the people taking bath around saw that all the three girls were drowning, so people jumped into the pond and pulled out the three girls. Out of which the condition of one girl child is said to be critical. Two girls had died before reaching the hospital. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. The bodies of both the children were handed over to their relatives after post-mortem. The parents of the girls fainted after seeing the dead bodies.
