Durg. In Chhattisgarh’s Durg district, a case of rape with a singer woman on the pretext of marriage has come to light. The father of the accused has gone to the police head constable in Durg police. It is alleged that the accused took the married woman to his friend’s house on the pretext of marriage. There he proposed the woman for marriage and had a physical relationship. Later refused to marry saying that the family members were not ready. The case pertains to Smriti Nagar Chowki area.
According to the information received, the accused Yogesh Sahu, 22 years old, lives in the police line and works in a private company. The age of the woman has been stated as 36 years. According to the complaint of the victim, in the year 2021, during an orchestra show, she was identified with Yogesh Sahu. Gradually, he started meeting her every day and proposed her for marriage.
The victim has a daughter, husband and wife live separately
According to the information received, the woman has a daughter and her husband has left her and gone somewhere else. The woman has said in the complaint that when the boy proposed, he took her along with him to his friend’s house in Chauhan Town. There Yogesh promised to marry and talked about living together. Hearing this, the woman came to his words. After which the accused made physical relation with the woman. Then the woman kept reminding him about marrying her again and again. But the young man kept refusing. He kept on procrastinating every day.

Made pressure for marriage then stopped talking
Meanwhile, when the woman repeatedly asked him to marry her, he stopped talking to her. Also said that the family members are not ready for this marriage. I can’t get married now. Troubled by this, the woman has now complained about the matter to the police. After which the police have registered the case.
The accused absconded as soon as the matter reached the police
The accused ran away from the house as soon as the girl came to know about the police complaint. Someone had informed the father of the accused about the woman’s complaint. As soon as the information was received, the accused fled from the spot. Now the police is searching for the accused.
