There are less educated people in villages as compared to cities. Due to this, people in rural areas find the process of taking loan from banks more complicated. Due to this, many people are deprived of taking loans, due to which the development of their family and village also stops. But now under Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission Bihan, women involved in self-help in rural areas of Raipur district are being given training as financial advisors.
After this training, women will work as financial advisors in the villages, which will make it easier for people to take loans from the bank. By taking a loan, while the villager will be able to develop his family and village along with himself, the women of the self-help group will also be able to earn a good income by playing an important role in getting the loan. In return for getting the loan, the woman will get two to two and a half percent of the total loan as commission.
Training is being given for financial advisor
Under this scheme, District Mission Management Unit, District Panchayat Raipur is working to provide financial advisor training to women of self-help groups in all four blocks of the district. Under this, training camps will be organized in every block one by one. It has been started from Tilda block. According to information received from departmental officials, more than one hundred women were called to the training camp in Tilda block. In this, 30 women have been selected as financial advisors.
Target to appoint 30 financial advisors in every block
According to departmental officials, under this scheme at least 30 financial advisors are to be appointed in every block. For this, all the women of self-help groups under the block are being called for training. 30 women will be selected in this training. After Tilda, training camps are to be organized under this scheme in Dharsiwa, Abhanpur and Arang blocks also.
