Mungeli. Three sisters were attacked with sharp weapons at 4 am on Tuesday in Illachpur village of Chilfi police station area of Mungeli district of Chhattisgarh. A 34-year-old girl, Lekha Tonde, has died in the attack, while her two sisters are seriously injured, who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. According to information, Lekha Tonde was a class-1 education worker. She was posted in a government school in Pendra. It is being told that he was having a love affair with a young man from Illachpur village. The youth is a lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Raipur NIT. Right now the summer vacation is going on in the school, due to which Lekha Tonde had come to her village Ilchpur. On Monday night, she was sleeping in her room with her younger sister Nandani Tonde (28 years) and cousin Reena Baghe.
Called out of the house in the early hours and executed the incident
Police said that in the early hours of Tuesday, Lekha Tonde’s boyfriend called her out of the house under a conspiracy. The lover had come 50 meters away from the house with some of his companions. When she went there, she had an argument with the youth, following which the youth along with his associates attacked her. Meanwhile, both the sisters also woke up. When both the sisters also came out on hearing the noise, the accused and his accomplices attacked them as well.
Lekha Tonde died on the spot in the attack. While his younger sister Nandni is seriously injured. My sister Reena Baghe was also attacked, but she somehow managed to escape from the spot and went home and informed the family members about the incident. By the time the family members reached the spot, the accused had fled after carrying out the incident.
The relatives immediately informed the Chilfi police station. Police reached the spot and took stock of the incident. Sent the dead body for postmortem. The police have admitted both the injured girls to the hospital. Police said that investigation has revealed that the accused youth had come to carry out the incident along with his relatives and acquaintances. The injured girl Reena told that 7-8 people were the attackers, including 3 women. She told that she is not a resident of this village, so she does not recognize anyone.
