On the one hand, the police is talking about the killing of Naxalites with prize money in the encounter and the recovery of weapons in huge quantities. On the other hand, the Naxalites are making various allegations against the police by calling this encounter false.
Tell that, Mangadu, secretary of Konta Area Committee, has sent a letter to the media making serious allegations against the police. The letter states that, on May 8, there was no encounter at Danteshpuram in Sukma district. Police picked up surrendered Naxalite Madkam Airra and Sadha Podiyam Bhime from their house and killed them. This whole incident was given the name of encounter, whereas none of our team was in Danteshpuram that day.
Police took 9 innocent people into custody
Apart from this, the Naxalites have accused the police that the last rites of the slain Naxalites Madkam Airra and Sadha Podiyam Bhime were also performed by the police. Also, their relatives Santosh Madkam (Shikshadoot), Veko Hidma, Madkam Kosa, Podiyam Mase, Podiyam Handa Santosh Madkam (Shikshadoot), Veko Hidma, Madkam Kosa, Podiyam Mase, Podiyam Handa including 9 innocent people were taken into police custody. They are giving various kinds of torture in the name of questioning.
Maoists’ release is fake
At the same time, the police have also said in response that the Naxalites are spreading fake releases and misleading propaganda. The bodies of slain Naxal prize commander Madkam Airra and member Podiyam Bhime were post-mortemed as per the guidelines and handed over to their relatives. Police said that none of his relatives have been arrested.
Naxalites are confusing the villagers
Naxalites are trying to confuse the villagers and join them in the organization. They are spreading such false propaganda so that the families of the slain Naxalites don’t have to provide any help. The police has appealed to the villagers to avoid such misleading propaganda and do not fall into the conspiracy of the Naxalites.
