Injured BJP leader Mahesh Gota
Jivanand Haldar-Jagdalpur. BJP leader Mahesh Gota was abducted by Naxalites in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. On Monday, they left him half-dead in the forest and ran away. Injured Mahesh Gota was undergoing treatment at Jagdalpur Medical College. Seeing his critical condition, he has been airlifted to Delhi for better treatment.
Significantly, on Sunday evening, Naxalites had abducted former sarpanch of Farsegarh Panchayat Mahesh Gota and other villagers. However, they later released the villagers and kept former sarpanch Mahesh Gota hostage. On Monday, he was about to kill BJP leader Mahesh Gota near Sumanpalli when his family members reached there. After this the Naxalites fled leaving him half-dead.

Here the relatives took the injured Mahesh Gota to Bijapur district hospital. From there Jagdalpur Medical College was referred. But seeing his critical condition, the doctors decided to refer him to Delhi. He has been airlifted to Delhi this morning.
