Sumit Baroi – Kanker/Bande. With the change of government in Chhattisgarh, the activities of Naxalites are once again seen increasing. Just yesterday, a soldier was martyred in an IED blast in Narayanpur district, while today once again an IED planted by Naxalites was found in Partapur police station area of Kanker district. A BSF jawan got hit.
The soldier was posted in the 47th battalion of BSF. His name is said to be Khileshwar Rai. The blast is said to have taken place in Mahala forest under Partapur police station. When the soldiers were out searching, a soldier got hit by an IED. The soldier died while being brought to Civil Hospital Pakhanjur. After this incident, security forces have intensified the searching in the area.
