Amit Gupta / Raigarh- A grand stage is being prepared for the launch of the National Ramayana Festival. Ramayana troupes from 12 states including Cambodia and Indonesia are going to present on this platform. Not only this, artists from Chhattisgarh to Assam, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Goa, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Uttarakhand and West Bengal will participate in the program to give their performances. At the same time, artists from country and abroad will come here and give their performances.
The confluence of tradition of art and culture will be seen…
In the National Ramayana Festival, you will get to see the confluence of the rich tradition of various arts and culture. During this, the festival will be enlivened by the bhajan evening of Indian Idol fame Shanmukh Priya and Saregam fame Sharad Sharma, while on June 2, famous singers Baba Hansraj Raghuvanshi and Lakhbir Singh Lakkha are also coming to add color to the programme. On the other hand, on June 3, devotion to Ram will be seen in Chhattisgarh with the performance of popular bhajan singer Maithili Thakur and country’s famous poet Kumar Vishwas. In this festival, there will be a special presentation of dance drama on Aranya Kand of Ramayana. Apart from this, there will be recitation of Hanuman Chalisa everyday.
Free admission for general public…
The special thing about this program is that there will be no entry ticket for the general public, that means you can enter the festival free of cost. There is a parking facility for the general public. Here you will see the confluence of art-culture and rich hospitality and will get an opportunity to see the performance of famous singer and poet. Tell me, Raigarh Collector Taran Prakash Sinha is reviewing the preparations for the festival and is giving instructions to the officials associated with the event to stay updated.

The first day of the festival will start at 3 pm. The presentation of Ramayana troupes will start from here itself. The evening will witness the live performance of Indian Idol fame famous singers Shanmukh Priya and Sharad Sharma. On the second day, on June 02, Ramayana troupes will perform from 3 pm. In the evening there will be a program of famous singer Baba Raghuvanshi and bhajan singer Lakhbir Singh Lakkha. The program will end on June 03 at 03 PM with the final presentations of the troupes. There will be a program of Kelo Mahaarti and lamp donation at 6 pm. In which the Ramkatha of famous poet Kumar Vishwas can be enjoyed. Along with this, bhajans of famous singer Maithili Thakur will also be heard.
CM will give the gift of development works worth 354 crores.
CM Bhupesh Baghel will reach Raigarh on June 1 for the inauguration of the National Ramayana Festival. Coming here, he will unveil the statue of CM Mahtari and will gift development works worth 354 crores. On the special initiative of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the state government is developing the historical places of the state related to the journey of Lord Shri Ram during his exile period under the Ram-Van-Gaman tourism circuit project. The important thing is that, from Surguja to Bastar, wherever Shri Ram ji’s impression is there, that place is being developed in the form of tourism.
