Mukesh Singh Bais / Janjgir-Champa. Chhattisgarh government is constantly increasing health facilities. Its effect is also being seen in Janjgir-Champa district. In the last few years, the district has become very strong in the field of health care. In rural areas, where people are taking benefits from Health and Wellness Centers, the district hospital has started getting facilities like big cities only in the last few years. The general public is getting the benefit of the strengthening of government hospitals.
Examination and treatment in district hospital like big cities
The biggest 100-bed district hospital in the district lacked facilities till a few years ago. People used to go outside for better treatment, but now the condition of this hospital has changed. The district hospital is now getting facilities for examination and treatment like in big cities. A dialysis center has been opened here a year back for kidney patients. So far 3 thousand 900 dialysis has been done in the center. Watch the video-

City scan facility has also been introduced recently. Apart from this, Chemo Therapy Center for cancer patients, DEIC for weak children, Sparsh Clinic for mentally challenged people have also been opened. Now the patients have got freedom from physical and mental problems along with the expenditure incurred in going out for treatment.
24-hour treatment facilities at Health and Wellness Centers
Even in rural areas, health services have become much better than before in the last few years. Facilities are being expanded in primary health centers. Cesarean and operation facilities are being provided in 2 PHCs of the district. At the same time, construction of operation theater is also going on in 3 PHCs. 161 health and wellness centers have been set up in the district for easy treatment in every village. Cesarean sections of pregnant women are also being performed in these centres. Along with this, 12 types of health facilities are being provided. 24-hour treatment facilities are being provided in the Health and Wellness Centers. Watch the video-
medical college will open soon
The work of expansion of facilities in the field of health care is going on continuously. Now the process of opening a medical college in the district has also started. Due to this, in the coming days, the residents of the district will be able to get facilities like metros.
