Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel presented a gift to the people of the city by inaugurating the multilevel car parking built in about 25 thousand square feet in the collectorate premises during the meet-meet program in the Bilaspur Vidhansabha on Saturday. Multilevel car parking will now solve the problem of traffic.
In addition to the basement and ground floor, two more floors have been built in the multilevel car parking constructed at a cost of Rs 16 crore 88 lakh, which has a capacity of 257 cars and 333 bike parking. Apart from the stairs, two lifts have also been installed in this building and there is also a fire fighting system for emergency.
Parking and traffic problems will be solved
The problem of parking and traffic always persists in and around Nehru Chowk-Collectorate, the most important and busy area of the city. All government offices, courts are in this area, so a large number of people reach here. Due to the large number of crowd, there used to be a problem of parking at this place, due to which people will now get relief.
