Raipur. Chhattisgarh State ‘Principal Promotion Sangharsh Morcha’ had organized a meeting on April 14 regarding the Principal’s promotion which has been stalled for 10 years. In this important meeting, which has now ended successfully, regular lecturer T/E cadre and regular head reader secondary school (post graduate trained) T/E cadre participated in the meeting, different recognized teacher organizations, teacher associations, Office bearers of employee organizations, unions, federations were present. Let us tell you, the Chhattisgarh State ‘Principal Promotion Sangharsh Morcha’ held a special discussion on the Principal’s promotion which has been stalled for 10 years in the School Education Department.
Since when was the ‘Principal promotion’ stalled?
Due to various reasons, the principal promotion was stopped from 2013. Regarding which the Hon’ble High Court, while disposing of many petitions, has directed the government to promote to the post of Principal under the Chhattisgarh School Education Service (Academic and Administrative Cadre) 2019, but even after the instructions issued by the High Court, the Principal has been working for many years. Promotion process has not been started. In fact, 3266 posts of principal are vacant in the school education department in the state, where promotions have not been done since 2013. However, these issues have now been discussed by the Chhattisgarh State ‘Principal Promotion Sangharsh Morcha’ and after the state level meeting, the delegation of Principal Promotion Sangharsh Morcha, School Education Minister Dr. Premasai Tekam and School Education Minister’s OSD A memorandum was handed over to Ashok Narayan Banjara for starting the process of Principal’s promotion immediately.
