Two female Naxalites killed
Dantewada. Two female Naxalites were killed in an encounter by security forces in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh on Wednesday morning. The soldiers have recovered the bodies and weapons of both the Naxalites. This encounter between soldiers and Naxalites lasted for about half an hour. This matter pertains to the entire Aranpur police station area.
According to the information received, the police received information that a large number of Naxalites are present in the forests of Kakadi and Nahari. As soon as the information was received, the soldiers set out on a search operation on Tuesday night, after which on Wednesday morning when the team reached Kakadi-Nahari forest, the Naxalites already sitting in ambush there started firing on the security forces.
Naxalites took advantage of the forest and fled
As soon as the firing started, the soldiers took charge and gave a befitting reply to the Naxalites’ bullets. This firing lasted for about half an hour. Seeing the security forces being overwhelmed, the Naxalites escaped taking the help of the dense forest. During the search by the security forces, bodies of two female Naxalites were recovered and explosive items including an INSAS rifle and a 12 bore rifle were also found from the spot.
ASP gave information about the case
Talking about this entire matter, Dantewada ASP RK Burman said that, we have currently received information about the killing of 2 Naxalites. Searching is going on at the incident site, when the soldiers return after searching, you will be given complete information.
