Dharsiwan. In Dharsinwa, adjacent to Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur, two drunken brothers committed hooliganism. Accused Mukut Verma reached a shop in Nagargaon at around 8.30 pm and started getting it closed. On protesting, first started abusing the shop employee and then brought an iron weapon from the house and started attacking. Nomesh Sahu, who came to intervene, was also attacked, due to which he has suffered a serious back injury. During the ruckus, the younger brother of accused Mukut Verma also came and he also thrashed the shop employee.

Jitendra Verma, the younger brother of the accused, hit the employee Mahesh Yadav on the head with a bird-killing pistol. Both the injured have been admitted to Dharsinwa Hospital. Both the accused have been arrested by the police for committing hooliganism, brandishing a sword in public and threatening to kill with a gun. The 43-year-old accused Mukut and his brother Jitendra are residents of Gudipara Nagargaon. At present, the police arrested both the accused and sent them to jail.
