Master mind trapped for demanding ransom from businessman
According to the SSP, Abhishek Surana, a businessman living in Amrapali Society of Rajendra Nagar police station area, lodged a complaint in the police station a month ago on June 14 that an unknown miscreant called him and demanded a ransom of ten lakh rupees. Had threatened to kill if the ransom was not paid. On checking the mobile number, the police arrested Madhukar Sinha, a resident of Abhanpur and his another accomplice Ajay alias Pintu Netam, and interrogated Madhukar’s mobile, then the police found many information related to betting in Madhukar’s mobile.
Master Mind of Vipin Odisha, Visakhapatnam
According to the police, among the miscreants who were arrested for operating online betting, Madhukar was the master mind of operating betting in Chhattisgarh, while Khamtarai resident Vipin Sharma was operating online betting in Odisha and Karnataka, sitting in Visakhapatnam. The bookies hired boys from Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Haryana to conduct betting in Visakhapatnam.
Police arrested these bookies
Police arrested Madhukar Sinha, Karan Singh Ghai, Naveen Aggarwal from Raipur and Rajnadgaon and Asharkar Parkar, Sunil Sewani, Mukesh Sonwane, Bharat Sahu Prabhat Sahu, Gopal Singh Gadia, Rakesh Gadia, Ajay Singh, Vipin from Odisha on charges of conducting online betting. Chandra Bhojram Jogi, Surendra Kumar, Saurabh Shukla, Pankaj Sahu, Shiva Aggarwal and Shriram Murthy, Vishwa alias Rinku Panchal, Mohan Lal Saini, Vishnujit Kumar, Pamidi Naresh, Vipin Sharma have been arrested from Visakhapatnam.
Theft in three houses of Bhadaura and one in Sipat
Thieves have stolen utensils from Sunil Rathore’s house, gas cylinder, rice, sound system from Bisun Rathore’s house and 40 thousand rupees in cash from Godavari Shrivas’ house while creating terror in village Bhadaura of Masturi area. Similarly, anklet, armlet, nettle, chain, gold locket and five thousand rupees in cash were stolen from the house of Awadh Kumar Rathore, a resident of Kauria in Sipat area.
