Raipur. Former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh took a press conference on Monday evening and responded to the repeated allegations leveled against him by CM Baghel. Dr. Raman said that the state government is saving the corrupt people caught in the proceedings of ED. The morale of the corrupt has increased only because of the protection of the government.
Dr. Raman said that whenever there are questions and answers from the CM, he starts talking about naan scam and chit fund. But let me make it clear that in Naan’s investigation it is clear that CM means Chinta Mani. The government not only protects the corrupt, but also makes them sit on important posts. Dr. Raman said- CM Baghel accused me of increasing my disproportionate assets, but IT-court and other agencies have given clean chit in this. It has become clear from IT and court’s decision that all the allegations were politically motivated. Me and my family have nothing to do with chit fund companies.
Four and a half years have passed why no action has been taken
Dr. Raman said that the government does not take action against the jailed officers in the proceedings of ED. Whenever the CM gets caught in a big case, only then he remembers the matter of naan and chit fund. He said that, I am giving clarification for the 11th time in the case of Naan and Chitfund. They have police and force, there was some disturbance then why didn’t they take action for so many days. In four and a half years, they have nothing except character assassination and leveling allegations.
Said on meeting PM Modi-
On the upcoming meeting of the BJP Legislature Party with PM Modi, Dr. Raman said that the political situation in Chhattisgarh will be discussed with him. PM Modi has not come to Chhattisgarh for many years, will invite him to visit Chhattisgarh. It is worth mentioning that the meeting of BJP MLAs with PM Modi is fixed on 5th April.
