Renuka Singh, the newly elected MLA from Bharatpur Sonhat, the first assembly of the state, took oath as an assembly member in the mother tongue Hindi in the assembly building located in the capital Raipur. Protem Speaker Ramvichar administered the oath to MLA Renuka Singh. Renuka Singh has become MLA from Bharatpur Sonhat Assembly by defeating Congress candidate Gulab Kamro by 4919 votes.
After taking oath as MLA, Renuka Singh expressed her gratitude to the people of Bharatpur Sonhat assembly constituency and posted on social media that, with the blessings of the family members and godlike voters of Bharatpur-Sonhat, today she was elected as a member of the sixth assembly of Chhattisgarh Assembly. Renuka Singh’s political journey
Renuka Singh started her political career as a BJP worker. After this, the BJP organization entrusted him with the responsibility of Mandal President. Renuka Singh, who was always ahead in public service, was again elected as District Panchayat member. In the first assembly elections held after the formation of the state in 2003, Renuka Singh was elected MLA from Premnagar Assembly for the first time. And worked as a cabinet minister in Raman government. In 2008 also, Renuka Singh became MLA from Premnagar seat and was made the Vice Chairman of Surguja Development Authority. After state politics, Renuka Singh entered the country’s politics by winning the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Surguja parliamentary seat and after becoming MP for the first time, she became the Minister of State for Tribal Affairs in the Modi government. Now Renuka Singh is the MLA from Bharatpur Sonhat in the 2023 assembly elections.
