Bemetra. Language festival was organized in Government Primary School, Sagona, Bemetara district of Chhattisgarh. In which school students participated enthusiastically. On this occasion, assistant teacher Himkalyani Sinha, who has good knowledge of Oriya language, took information through video conference call from Sagarika Yadav, Government Pre-Secondary School, Hardi Block, Berla District, Bemetara, for language communication with the children of Class III. Sagarika Yadav told the children about the dishes there in Oriya language, like – Chhena Podo, Rasabali, Chhena Paras, Jhilli (small jalebi made from Khova flour), Palualaddu… etc. Along with this, children were given information about the words used in common spoken language. In Oriya, I am called Mu, Jaakchhi-I am going, Aame-Ham, Tume-Tum, Tama Na Kab-What is your name. Similarly, students were given information about Oriya food. Gave information about Badi Chura, Sajna Saag, Kumdaphool Bara, Dalma vegetable, Besar-ground mustard vegetable, Kanika, Poi Saag.

Assistant teacher Himkalyani Sinha, while giving information about the culture of Chhattisgarh, gave the names of 36 dishes of Chhattisgarh, Sohari, Chausela, Aairsa, Thethri Khurmi, Cheela, Angkar Roti, Papchi, Dudhfara, Derhauri… etc. For the second time, Himkalyani Sinha is speaking to the children of J.P. through conference video call for language communication. Communicated in Marathi language with teacher Lala Saheb, Laxman Jadhav and the teacher there from primary school Kondhapuri Tehsil Shirur, District Pune Maharashtra. The children there were present in the school in Maharashtrian Marathi costumes. Through which they got to know the names of jewellery, got acquainted with words like Chandrahar, Bakulihar, Bali Bugdi, Ambada, Juda Pin, Thushi, Bajubandh, Borla Bindi, Mekhala… etc. Children conversed in Marathi language. Himkalyani Sinha tells that Laxman Jadhav, while introducing himself to all the children present in the class, inspired the children to speak and talked about many topics related to education. In this way, children of Government Primary School, Saigona, from different states connected and communicated to get information in Oriya and Marathi languages. The head reader of the school, Lekhram Verma had an important contribution in making this program successful.
