Raipur . Civil Lines police station has arrested a criminal who was selling cheap branded liquor like Goa through Blender, Royal Challenge and other branded liquor. The person arrested by the police for selling low priced liquor as branded is a bar worker by profession. The accused was selling cheap liquor in empty bottles of the bar by filling them in empty bottles of expensive liquor and then sealing them and selling them. Police have seized a huge quantity of empty bottles of expensive brands from the house of a bar employee.

Police have seized more than 30 liters of Goa and other cheap priced liquor from the bar employee’s house. According to the police, Buddhasen Jaiswal has been arrested for selling low priced liquor by disguising it as expensive brand liquor. Budhsen has told the police that after the liquor shops and bars were closed, he used to fill low priced liquor in branded liquor bottles and sell it as expensive liquor to the people coming to the bar to buy liquor. To convert low priced liquor into expensive brand liquor, Budhsen used to regularly bring two to four empty bottles of liquor from the bar.

After this people informed the police. After this, the police raided Budhsen’s house and found more empty bottles of liquor than the quantity of liquor found in the house. On being strictly interrogated, Buddhasen narrated his exploits to the police.

From the empty liquor bottles found in the house, the police suspect that Budhsen was selling three to four bottles of liquor to liquor lovers every day from his house.
