Durg. Sushil Das, father of alleged courier Aseem Das, arrested in the case of Mahadev Satta App in Durg district of Chhattisgarh, has committed suicide by jumping into a well. According to local people, he was under stress for a long time after the arrest of his son Aseem Das. At present the police is investigating the matter.
According to the information received, Sushil Das, father of accused Aseem Das, used to work as a watchman in the farm house of Rupesh Gautam in village Achoti of Anda police station area for about five years. He lived in a room built in a farm house. On Monday night at around 11:30 pm, he left the house and committed suicide by jumping into the well in the farm house. When he was not found in the room on Tuesday, a search for him was started. When one looked into the well, his dead body was seen floating. After which people informed the police about the matter. As soon as the information was received, Anda police reached the spot and got the body taken out.
