Seeing the situation going out of control in Biranpur of Bemetara district on Monday evening after a fight between two communities, the police arrested BJP state president Arun Saw, former Bilaspur Lok Sabha MP Lakhan Sahu, BJP district president Omprakash Joshi, BJP spokesperson Amit Chinwani and several prominent BJP leaders. The leaders were arrested. All of them had reached village Biranpur to meet the family of the victim. But seeing the situation getting worse, the police arrested him around 3 km away from Biranpur at around 6.15 pm. Watch the video-
the protesters were getting out of control
It is notable that thousands of people had gathered at some distance from the village, the police administration has put all its might in stopping them from reaching Biranpur. SP Ankita Sharma herself is seen explaining to each and every protestor and tying handkerchief on the injuries of some injured people. Yet the protesters are getting out of control. A large number of policemen present there are now seen falling short after hours of hard work. The protesters are trying to reach Biranpur under any circumstances.
