The Supreme Court has refused to give relief to Bihar’s famous YouTuber Manish Kashyap in the Rasuka (NSA) case. The Chief Justice told advocate Maninder Singh, appearing for Manish, that he should approach the High Court for relief. During the hearing, the Bihar government’s lawyer called Manish Kashyap a habitual criminal. He said that he is an extortionist.

During the hearing on Monday, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (CJI) asked about which incident the FIR lodged in Bihar was about. In response to this, the Bihar government’s lawyer said that the first FIR is about sharing the fake video, the second is about the statement given at Patna Airport, which is disputed. Apart from this, the third FIR is about the handcuffed photo. Bihar Government’s lawyer said that Manish Kashyap is a habitual criminal. After this, the Chief Justice asked that now the Tamil Nadu Government should tell about the FIR. Tamil Nadu government’s counsel Kapil Sibbal said that where the first FIR was registered, all should be clubbed together. Bihar government’s counsel said that accused Manish Kashyap shot a fake video in Patna and circulated it. On this, Kashyap’s lawyer cited the example of two newspapers and mentioned their story on the incident. Earlier, a hearing was held in the Supreme Court on April 21 in this matter. The court had then issued a notice to the Tamil Nadu government on the imposition of the National Security Act by the police. The Supreme Court also directed not to transfer Kashyap from Madurai Central Jail to any other place after the hearing.

Kashyap is in the custody of Tamil Nadu police

Let us tell you that YouTuber Manish Kashyap is currently in the custody of Tamil Nadu Police in connection with the alleged attack on migrant laborers from Bihar in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu Police had taken him from Bihar for questioning after getting the remand order from the Madurai bench of the Chennai High Court.
