ED and CBI are tightening their noose on the family of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav in the land scam case. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation on Monday. CBI has issued summons to Tejashwi Yadav three times. After this he has now appeared before the CBI. Tejashwi Yadav has appeared on the condition that he should not be arrested. The CBI had told the Delhi High Court that it would not arrest Tejashwi Yadav this month. Rashtriya Janata Dal MP and Tejashwi Yadav’s sister Misa Bharti has also joined the Enforcement Directorate probe for questioning in the matter.

Tejashwi said – we will fight

Tejashwi, leaving from his residence in Delhi for the CBI office, said that even though the current cases in India have made it difficult to fight the battle. He said that we have always cooperated with the investigating agencies, but the kind of political environment prevailing in the country, it is easy to bow down but very difficult to fight. Along with this, Tejashwi said that we have chosen to fight. We will fight and we will win. On the other hand, due to the questioning of Tejashwi Yadav, the politics of Bihar has heated up.

ED raids in money laundering case

Earlier, the ED had raided 24 locations of Tejashwi Yadav including Delhi, Patna, Ranchi and Mumbai in connection with the money laundering probe in the job-for-land case. The CBI had issued summons to Tejashwi Yadav three times earlier as well. Last time also he did not appear before the CBI. Tejashwi had told the reason that his pregnant wife is admitted in the hospital. Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court had on March 15 granted bail to former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, his wife and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, their daughter Misa and 13 other accused.
