ED raided 24 locations of Lalu
Please tell that on March 6, the CBI team reached Lalu’s Patna residence and interrogated Rabri Devi. After this, on March 10, the ED raided the house of Lalu Prasad including his family members in the land scam case in lieu of job in Railways. During this, ED raided a total of 24 locations in the Land for Job scam case. After the raid, the ED tweeted that 1 crore cash, more than 1.5 kg of gold ornaments, 540 grams of gold and US dollars were recovered in the raid.
what is the whole matter
Lalu Yadav is alleged to have taken land from many people in lieu of railway jobs when he was the Railway Minister between 2004 and 2009. The CBI had registered a case against Lalu Yadav regarding this. CBI had filed a charge sheet in the year 2022 regarding this matter. It was claimed in the charge sheet that Lalu Yadav had made appointments in the Railways illegally. It was also being told that along with Lalu Yadav, wife Rabri, daughter Misa and many railway officials were also involved in this matter.
