According to media reports, this incident happened last Monday night. Around 11 pm in Siwan district, miscreants opened fire on BJP ward president Shivaji Tiwari while he was returning home, resulting in his death. Shivaji Tiwari was also accompanied by his brother-in-law, who was also shot in the attack. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. When people nearby heard the sound of the bullet, they ran to the spot and saw that the leader had died on the spot. People informed the police about the incident, then the police reached the spot, took stock of the incident and started investigating the matter.
