SS Rajamouli announces biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke: Director SS Rajamouli has announced his next film. This time he will make a biopic on Indian cinema. Whose name will be Made in India. This film will be based on the ‘Father of Indian Cinema’ Dadasaheb Phalke. It will be directed by National Award winner Nitin Kakkar, which will be released in six languages including Hindi. The veteran director has confirmed this by tweeting on Instagram.
In fact, SS Rajamouli wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, “When I heard this story for the first time, it affected me emotionally like no other story has. Making a biopic is a Herculean task in itself, but imagining one about the father of Indian cinema is even more challenging. Our team is ready for this. The film will be produced by Varun Gupta of MaxStudio and SS Karthikeya of Showing Business.

While reacting to the announcement of this film, some people also asked SS Rajamouli about his other film ‘Mahabharata’. “We also want Mahabharata,” said an ex-user on the social media platform. “When is Mahabharata?” Asked another – Is this really a biopic of Dadasaheb Phalke, who is called the ‘Father of Indian Cinema’.
