Regarding the violent incident, DM and SP of Nalanda district said that we are trying to control the situation by any means. He said that more than 106 stone-pelting miscreants have been taken into custody during this incident. At the same time, the police is engaged in identifying other miscreants and pacifying the matter. He said that in view of the deteriorating situation in the city, the flag march was taken out and police patrolling is being done continuously in the violent areas. There was firing and stone-pelting in Paharpur and Khasganj areas on Saturday evening. In which one person has died. Dozens of people were injured in this incident. Who were admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment.

Amit Shah spoke to the Governor of Bihar over phone

Union Home Minister Amit Shah held talks with Bihar Governor Vishwanath Arlekar regarding the violence during the Ram Navami Shobha Yatra in Nalanda district. In which the Union Home Minister discussed with the Governor the situation and violence perpetrated by miscreants in Bihar Sharif, Sasaram and other places. Giving information, the Governor of Bihar said that the situation is still serious. After which, in view of the deteriorating law and order situation, the Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to send a contingent of paramilitary forces. Along with this, Shah has demanded a report on this matter from the Bihar government.
