RJD gives ticket to Abhay Kushwaha from Aurangabad
Keeping in mind the caste equation, RJD has made Abhay Kushwaha its candidate from Aurangabad Lok Sabha seat. If reports are to be believed, Rajput caste has the highest number of voters in Aurangabad, while Kushwaha caste also has a sizeable number. In such a situation, if there is a split among Rajput voters, then it is believed that this seat can go to the account of Indi alliance.

Congress opposed Abhay Kushwaha
Despite seat sharing not being finalized between the Indian alliance, RJD has given ticket to Abhay Kushwaha from Aurangabad, which has been opposed by Congress. Congress wants the Aurangabad seat for former Kerala Governor and retired Delhi Police Commissioner Nikhil Kumar. Nikhil Kumar Singh won this seat in 2009.
