Dhawan scored an unbeaten 106 off 61 balls with 12 fours and three sixes in this innings. After this, in the very next match, Dhawan played an unbeaten inning of 101 runs in 58 balls against Chennai Superkings with 14 fours and a six. This was the first time that two consecutive centuries were scored by a player in the IPL.
Jos Buttler also did back to back hundreds
After this, Rajasthan Royals wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler scored 103 runs in 61 balls with the help of 9 fours and 5 sixes against Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals. He scored an inning of 116 runs in 65 balls with the help of 9 fours and 9 sixes. Jos Buttler became the second batsman in the IPL to score two centuries in two consecutive matches.
