Fatehabad / Bhattu Kalan. In the event of a child’s death following vaccination, the Inquiry Committee has submitted its report to the CMO. Based on the investigation report, the CMO has terminated the services of health worker Tamanna. The Health Employees Association has expressed great anger at the termination of Tamanna’s services and has warned it will boycott all forms of vaccination unless services are restored.
We would like to inform you that the condition of two and a half month old child Kabir deteriorated after regular vaccinations in Polyclinic in Huda Sector of Fatehabad on May 3rd. The child was admitted to the civil hospital, where the child died. This child was born through IVF technology. The parents had a child after 17 years. This child was vaccinated by staff member Tamanna. It is claimed that ANM Tamanna, who administered the vaccination, did not provide first aid to the child. The investigative committee found that if the child’s condition deteriorated, an injection of adrenaline was required, which was not administered by the staff on duty. When the child was referred, he was not assigned an ambulance. The child also had difficulty breathing. A two-person investigative committee was set up by the CMO for this purpose. In its report, the committee acknowledged that the doctors and staff present had neglected the vaccination. Based on the Board of Inquiry report, the CMO has terminated the services of Associate Tamanna.
On the other hand, the Multipurpose Health Employees Association has expressed great anger at the termination of health worker Tamanna’s services. The meeting of the association took place in Tau Devi Lal Park, chaired by Pradhan Veerbala. The meeting expressed displeasure with the government and civilian surgeon Fatehabad for taking action against the employee. Orders issued by Sarva Karmachari Sangh and Union officials to terminate the services of health worker Tamanna have been condemned in the strongest possible terms. The staff said the investigative committee wronged Tamanna. There was no fair investigation into this matter. When the child’s health deteriorated after the vaccination, health worker Tamanna immediately showed the child to the doctor present in the polyclinic.
The medical officer said the child’s health is fine, but if you want to see him, you can take him to Fatehabad Civil Hospital. Meanwhile, the child died on the way to the hospital. Investigators said Tamanna did not give an injection to stop the reaction, while the higher authority is responsible for the symptoms and treatment decisions associated with the vaccine reaction. At the meeting, it was decided by the Multipurpose Health Employees Association that there would be riots at the county and state levels unless orders to halt the services of women health workers were withdrawn. All work, including vaccination, is completely boycotted.
