The Union Health Ministry has released new figures today on Wednesday i.e. 5 April. After about six months, more than four thousand new cases of corona virus have been reported in the country. Earlier on September 28, 4,271 cases were reported. During the last 24 hours, 4,435 new patients were found in the country and 15 people lost their lives due to this epidemic. The special thing is that out of these 2,905 patients have appeared in only five states. Kerala ranks first in the list of Corona affected states, while Maharashtra ranks second, Delhi third, Karnataka fourth and Gujarat fifth. First of all, if we talk about Kerala, 1,025 new cases have been found here. Corona has been confirmed in 711 new patients in Maharashtra, 521 in Delhi, 324 in Karnataka and 324 in Gujarat. At present, there are 23,091 active cases of corona in the country. These are the highest since October 18. At that time there were 23,376 active cases in the country. In such a situation, the Supreme Court has also expressed concern about the increasing corona cases.

A bench of CJI and Justice JB Pardiwala said that the court is ready to allow lawyers to appear through hybrid mode. CJI Chandrachud said that newspaper reports suggest that Covid cases are increasing and if any lawyer wants to appear in the court, he can and hybrid mode is also on.

India is already included in the top-10 countries of the world in terms of new patients received every day. Now with this, India is also at the third place in the list of top-10 countries in terms of deaths. According to the data till 28 March 2023, the highest number of deaths due to corona virus in the world have occurred in USA. There 1,15,3816 people died due to Corona. After this, 6,99,917 people have lost their lives in Brazil at number two. At the same time, India is at number three in this list, where 5,30,841 people have lost their lives due to this epidemic. In such a situation, the central government has also given instructions to the states to take concrete steps in the direction of corona management. Along with this, people are also being called upon to follow the Covid protocol.
