Rahul Gandhi Kedarnath Visit: Amidst the busyness of assembly elections in five states, former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi will remain in the shelter of Baba Kedarnath for three days from today. At a time when the election campaign is in full swing, Rahul’s three-day personal spiritual visit to Kedarnath Dham also has political implications. This visit of Rahul Gandhi is being linked to Congress’s soft Hindutva strategy and is also being seen as Rahul’s counter politics against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP’s aggressive campaign in election states.

The doors of Chardham Yatra starting from 25th April will be closed for 6 months this month. The doors of Gangotri will be closed on 14th November, Yamunotri and Kedarnath Dham on 15th November. Ultimately the doors of Badrinath Dham will be closed on 18th November. This time, so far more than 52 lakh devotees have come for Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra. This is said to be a record number so far. About 46 lakh people reached Chardham in 2022.
This time till November 1, 52 lakh 17 thousand 177 devotees have visited the four temples. Most people come to visit Baba Kedarnath Dham. About 17 lakh devotees have reached Kedarnath Dham. This time the yatra will continue till 18th November. It is expected that this number may reach close to 60 lakhs.
