A Mumbai court has granted bail to Sapna Gill and three other accused in the case of allegedly manhandling Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw and attacking his car with a baseball bat. After a long debate, the court granted bail to Sapna Gill on a personal bond of Rs 10,000. Earlier in the day, the court had sent Gill, his friend Shobhit Thakur, Rudra Solanki and Sahil Singh to judicial custody for 14 days. After this, he filed a bail application in the court. Andheri Court CP Kashid after hearing brief arguments granted bail to all the accused.

Prithvi Shaw went for dinner at a five star hotel in Santacruz. Then the unknown accused came there and started insisting on taking a selfie. Shaw took selfies with the two, following which the same group returned and insisted on taking selfies with the other accused. During this, Shaw refused saying that he had come to have dinner with friends and did not want to disturb. According to the complaint, on the insistence of the accused, Prithvi Shaw’s friend called the hotel manager and complained about him.
