Parliament Winter Session Live Updates: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will introduce three new Criminal Code Bills in the Rajya Sabha today for consideration and passing. The Indian Judicial (Second) Code, 2023, the Indian Civil Defense (Second) Code, 2023 and the Indian Evidence (Second) Bill, 2023 were passed by the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. The Center will also introduce the Telecommunications Bill, 2023 in the Rajya Sabha for consideration and passing. The Bill provides for amendments to the law relating to the development, expansion and operation of telecommunication services and telecommunication networks. It was passed by the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. Meanwhile, opposition leaders have taken out a foot march from Parliament to Vijay Chowk over the security lapse on December 13 and the subsequent suspension of 143 MPs. The suspension was due to opposition members demanding Shah’s statement on Parliament security lapses. India Alliance MPs decided to hold nationwide protests on Friday, including at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.
