Opposition Manipur Visit: Opposition delegation of 21 MPs has returned from Manipur tour. ‘We were able to understand the ground reality’

He said that our journey should be meaningful and we should also be able to understand the ground reality. We met the governor and gave him a detailed memorandum. We have appealed that normalcy should be restored there soon.

‘Government has turned a blind eye’

On the other hand, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary after returning from Manipur said that both the state government and the central government have failed to stop the violence in Manipur. The government is not taking any concrete steps to stop this violence, due to which the violence is increasing. BJP leaders only know how to talk big by roaming around the country. There is no food, no medicines at the homes of the victims. Children have no facilities to study, college students cannot go to college. Nothing is being done to end the fighting between the two communities. The state government and the central government have closed their eyes on this matter. He further said that China can take advantage of this wrongly. Manipur is a border state, in such a situation, seeing the situation deteriorating, China may have a wrong eye.

‘PM Modi should also visit Manipur’

RJD MP Manoj Jha after returning from Manipur said that we want peace to be restored in Manipur. Our only demand is that both the communities live in harmony. The situation in Manipur is alarming. There has already been a discussion in Parliament that a unanimous vote should be taken. On the other hand, Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said that people have welcomed us in Manipur. The NDA alliance and Prime Minister Modi should also visit Manipur.

Government has become shameless – Congress MP

After returning from Manipur, Congress MP Phulo Devi said that two women were raped. The victim women told that they were raped in front of the police, but the government is not taking any action. No one should be so shameless. We demand that normalcy should be restored there at the earliest. We will prepare an authentic report and present it before the House.
