Odisha Train Accident: Information about another train accident is coming to the fore in Odisha. A goods train has met with an accident in Bargarh, Odisha. Five of its coaches have derailed. Local railway officials have started reaching the spot. On the other hand, in Tamil Nadu also, there is a report of a crack in the coach of a moving train. According to media reports, another goods train derailed near Mendhapali in Bargarh district on Monday. The goods train was going from Dungri to Bargarh. Limestone was being carried in this goods train.

The police immediately reached the spot and started their investigation. However, no casualties have been reported so far. There is a private narrow gauge rail line between the Dungri limestone quarries and the cement plant at Bargarh. Also, these are not connected to the Indian Railways system. East Coast Railway issued a statement saying that there is a private cement factory near Mendhapali in Bargarh district of Odisha, which operates this freight train. Some of its coaches have derailed. Railway has no role in this.

A case also came to light in Tamil Nadu

In Tamil Nadu too, a case of crack in the wheel of a train has also come to light. According to media reports, the Kollam-Chennai Egmore Express was going from Kollam to Chennai. The train had reached Sengottai station on Sunday evening when the railway staff noticed a crack in the lower part of a coach of the train. The crack was near the wheel. Soon after, there was a stir at the place. Railway employees informed about this to their senior officers.

The Kollam-Chennai Egmore Express was stopped at Sengottoi station for checking and the occupants of the cracked compartment were asked to move to the next coach. It took more than an hour to get it completely right. The Kollam-Chennai Egmore Express was sent to its destination with a delay of one hour. Simultaneously, this information was also given to the officials of Madurai station.
