After the horrific train accident in Odisha, another new case has come to the fore. There was a stir after a fire broke out in the AC coach of the Durg-Puri Express on Thursday evening near Khariar Road station in Nuapada district of Odisha. There was panic among the passengers and people hurriedly got out of the train in maximum numbers. However, there is no information about any casualty after the fire.
In a statement issued by the Indian Railways, it was said that smoke was seen rising from the B-3 coach of the train at Khariar Road station. The brake bindings caught fire due to friction and incomplete release of the brakes. However, there was no fire in the coach. After this, its information was given to the fire department. In a hurry, the vehicles of the fire department reached the spot and brought the fire under control. The problem was fixed within an hour. Also, the train was flagged off from the station at around 11 pm.

After dousing the fire in the Durg-Puri Express, passengers resumed their journey. Although there was no loss of any kind in the fire, but the incident created an atmosphere of fear among some passengers of the train and the people present there. Rail accident happened in Odisha
A gruesome train accident took place in Balasore district of Odisha on Friday, June 2. About 288 people lost their lives in this accident and more than 1100 people were injured.
