Has covered many areas including parts of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Northeast India, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Eastern Uttar Pradesh (UP). Also, the Meteorological Department said that it has covered most parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and some parts of Haryana.

Monsoon entry in Delhi

With the arrival of monsoon in the country’s national capital Delhi, it rained heavily in many parts of Delhi in the early hours of Sunday. The city’s Safdarjung area and Palam recorded maximum rainfall till 5.30 am. The Meteorological Department has issued Orange Alert for Sunday and Yellow Alert has been issued for 26 and 27 June. Explain that the Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy sky and light to moderate rain on all the three days.

Monsoon knocks in Himachal Pradesh

Monsoon knocked in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday. Heavy rains have been observed in many areas of the state. Due to this landslide occurred and many vehicles were also damaged. Also, some trains have also been stopped. The Shimla-Kalka road has also been closed due to landslides following torrential rains. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain at different places on June 25 and 26.

Heavy rain in Uttarakhand as well

The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued Orange Alert till June 26 and Yellow Alert till June 30 in many areas of Uttarakhand. Orange alert has been issued in Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat and Pithoragarh till June 30. During this, there is a possibility of heavy rain with strong winds. The Meteorological Department has advised people to avoid travel for some time. Intermittent rains were recorded in the capital Dehradun since Saturday night, which brought down the temperature significantly.

Monsoon will knock soon in Rajasthan too

The Meteorological Department said that monsoon is expected to reach Rajasthan by next week, due to which heavy rains may occur in many parts of the state. He also said that monsoon reached parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh and Haryana on Saturday and conditions remain favorable for it to remain active and advance further in the coming days.

Orange and yellow alert issued in parts of Maharashtra

The Meteorological Department has also issued an orange alert for Raigarh and Ratnagiri in Maharashtra. Also, he said that Palghar, Mumbai and Thane would also record heavy rains. Let us tell you that it has been raining continuously since Saturday in many parts of Mumbai. Till now, heavy rains have been recorded in many parts of the city.
