Manipur Violence: More than 100 days have passed since the violence broke out in the northeastern state of Manipur, but the situation there is yet to return to normal. So far more than 160 people have lost their lives in this violence. During this, the monsoon session of the Parliament was going on, where the ruling party and the opposition clashed with each other over the violence. From the political corridors of the country’s capital Delhi (Delhi) to the violence-affected areas of Manipur (Manipur), the BJP, Congress and regional parties continue to clash. Now a big statement has come from Outer Manipur MP Lorho Foje regarding this issue.

Rahul Gandhi said a good thing for Manipur: Lorho Foje

According to media reports, NPF (Naga People’s Front) leader of BJP’s ally in Manipur and Outer Manipur MP Lorho Phoje has said many such things which are going to create political stir from Delhi to Manipur. MP Foje said, “I wanted to speak in the Lok Sabha, but I did not get a chance to speak there. I was told that Home Minister Amit Shah will speak on the Manipur violence. Lorho Foje further said that I was present in the Parliament from the very first day of the session. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said a good thing for Manipur. The reason behind this is that he had gone to Manipur after the violence in the state and interacted with the local people of the state. This created a feeling among the Manipuri people for Rahul Gandhi.

‘We had a lot of heart to speak on Manipur’

MP Lorho Phoje further said, “It was very important for me to speak on the issue of Manipur violence. We are emotionally saddened by this issue. We want to tell India how the local people feel about the situation in Manipur. Our party is in alliance with the BJP (Bhartiya Janta Party) in Manipur, so we let the home minister speak. However, we felt like speaking. The BJP has done a lot for us. During the Congress So many development works were not done in 2015. But the truth is that our Manipur is burning and the government there is unable to do anything for it. We are deeply saddened by this.”
