Maharashtra Politics: Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde’s party Shiv Sena may face a big blow. The MLAs of Shinde group are going to be punished. The Supreme Court today i.e. on Monday asked the Maharashtra Assembly Speaker to hear the petitions related to the disqualification of the MLAs associated with CM Eknath Shinde next week. SC said that a time limit should be fixed for disposal of this case. The Speaker’s Office should inform the Supreme Court about the steps taken by it.

According to media reports, the Supreme Court said that the disqualification case cannot be kept pending indefinitely. Let us tell you that Uddhav Thackeray group leader Sunil Prabhu has filed this petition in the Supreme Court. The petition states that despite the court’s order of May 11, the Speaker’s Office has not heard the disqualification of the Shinde camp MLAs. After this, the Supreme Court has given instructions to the Maharashtra Assembly Speaker in the matter and is expected to follow it. SC said that the decision on the disqualification petitions of Shiv Sena MLAs should be heard soon.

‘Demand to cancel the decision of the Election Commission’

Let us inform that the leader of Uddhav Thackeray group has also filed a petition in the Supreme Court against giving the party and its election symbol to Eknath Shinde. Chief Justice DY Chandrachud said that this case will be heard after 3 weeks. Uddhav Thackeray has demanded in the petition filed in the Supreme Court that the decision of the Election Commission should be cancelled. He has said that the disunity in the legislative party should not be termed as the disunity of the party.
