Mumbai Coastal Road Renamed: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has made a big announcement on Sunday. He has decided to rename Mumbai Coastal Road after Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Information about this has been given from the Chief Minister’s Office.

Along with this, the Mumbai Coastal Road Project has brought the project to build an 8-lane, 29.2 km long coastal road along the west coast of Mumbai, India. The project has been launched by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The completion of this project is being brought to reduce the travel time between the two suburbs.

The Mumbai Coastal Road Project is expected to reduce travel time between south Mumbai and western suburbs from 2 hours to 40 minutes. It is also expected to decongest the existing roads in the city and improve the overall connectivity of Mumbai. After its completion, the people of Mumbai will get a lot of relief from jam and congestion. It is believed that the completion of the project will also greatly benefit the commuting of both the suburbs.
