He has also worked to serve the public in his Lok Sabha constituency. He said that if someone thinks that he should vote for me so that his goods get water service, it cannot happen. He further said that I will neither eat nor allow anyone to eat. If people want me to serve them selflessly then vote for me or else don’t vote. He claimed that he will not even put up banners and hoardings to get votes in his Lok Sabha constituency. Let us tell you that Gadkari had come to attend the inauguration program of a cement concrete road in Washim district. Let us tell you that before Nitin Gadkari, PM Modi was the first to give this slogan that I will neither eat nor let anyone eat.

Gadkari is counted among the best performing ministers of BJP. Before this, Gadkari was also the National President of BJP from 2009 to 2013.

Recently, in a program in Washim district, he had requested all the MLAs, MPs and officials of the district that no one will harass the contractors, nor put any kind of pressure. He had said that he will get the work done through contractors. Along with this, he also warned the contractors that if the roads are broken, I will break them with bulldozers.
