Paramjit Singh Arrested: Police have arrested an associate of Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh Road from Amritsar. Lakhbir Singh Rode, nephew of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, one of India’s most wanted criminals, died of a heart attack in Pakistan. His associate Paramjit Singh alias Dhadi has been arrested by the police today. Police said he has been involved in terrorist activities and other illegal activities. Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said Dhadi was an associate of banned terrorist organization ISYF (International Sikh Youth Federation) chief Lakhbir Rode in funding terrorist activities and other subversive activities in Punjab. Furthermore, the police chief said that investigation is underway to unearth the terrorist network. He described Paramjit’s arrest as a major blow to the terrorist module trying to disrupt law and order in the area.

Meanwhile, officials said Lakhbir Singh Rode died of a heart attack in Pakistan. Gaurav Yadav says that Rode is behind the Khalistani separatist movement. After her death, Bhindranwale fled Pakistan and settled in Lahore. But they said that he died on Monday. Police said Rod was a leader of the ‘International Sikh Youth Federation’.
