Karnataka Elections 2023: As the date of Karnataka Assembly Elections is coming closer, the drama of allegations and counter-allegations has also started between the leaders there. On Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge’s ‘poisonous snake’ remark on PM Modi, Karnataka BJP MLA Basanagowda called former Congress chief Sonia Gandhi ‘Vishkanya’ during an election rally in Yatnal’s Koppal.
Addressing a public meeting in Koppal, BJP MLA Basanagouda said, the whole world has accepted PM Modi. America had once refused to grant him a visa. Later they rolled out the red carpet and welcomed Modi. Now they i.e. Congress are comparing PM Modi with cobra snake and saying that he will spew venom. Is Sonia Gandhi a toxic Vishkanya? He further went on to say that Sonia worked with China and Pakistan as their agent.
Explain that the BJP MLA’s statement came a day after Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge targeted PM Modi. Kharge said during the rally in Kalburgi on 27th April, Modi is like a poisonous snake. If you think it is poison or not and you lick it, you will die. However, later he said that he does not make personal comments, he said about BJP.
