Sonipat: The Additional Circuit Court and Trial Judge convicted the accused of raping a 12-year-old boy. Suruchi Atreja Singh’s court sentenced the convict to life imprisonment. At the same time, the culprits were fined Rs 1.10 lakh. Orders were made to give the victim one lakh rupees from the fine. In the event of late payment, he must expect an additional prison sentence of 31 months.
On March 28, 2022, a resident of Sadar Gohana Village Police Station (Gohana) told police that he had gone to work. Then a call came from his house that his 12-year-old son was crying non-stop, after which he came home. Talking to the son, he told that Sahil from his village brought him towards Bani (Forest) on March 27, 2022 when he was playing in the evening by luring him with food. There the accused behaved indecently towards her. Also threatened that he would kill him if he told anyone and he would have to come if he shouted.
He then took her to Bani again on the morning of March 28, 2022 and wronged her. After that, his condition worsened. When he got home, the relatives informed his father. The father took the son to the hospital in Gohana, whereupon the police were informed. The police registered one case of misdemeanor and threat. The police arrested the accused Sahil and sent him to prison by order of the court. After hearing the case, the ASJ Suruchi Atreja Singh court sentenced the accused. The convict was sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50,000 under 6 Poxo Act, life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50,000 under Section 377 and seven years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 under Section 506. All sets are executed simultaneously.
