Speaker Jagdeep Dhankhar gave a class to the creating ruckus Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha. Dhankhar advised Chadha to speak instead of pointing fingers. Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned till 2 pm on Friday due to uproar by opposition members demanding discussion on security lapses in the winter session of Rajya Sabha. When the proceedings began at 11 am, Dhankhar placed the necessary documents on the table of the House and then told that he had received a total of 23 notices under Rule 267 for discussion on the security lapse in Parliament.

The Speaker said that he had already informed the House that the matter was under investigation. After this the opposition members stood on their seats and started creating ruckus. Meanwhile, Raghav Chadha of Aam Aadmi Party tried to speak by pointing towards the seat, on which the Speaker objected. He asked Chadha to express his opinion by speaking without gestures. After this there was chaos in the hall.

Seeing the increasing uproar, the Speaker adjourned the proceedings of the House at 11.09 am till 2 pm. On Thursday, members of opposition parties also held a rally and demanded a discussion on the security lapse on the anniversary of the terror attack on Parliament.
